I’d like to invite you to join MPP’s “Club of 1,000.” http://www.mpp.org/donating/club-of-1000.html
The "Club of 1,000" is a distinction that's reserved for the highest-level donors to MPP, MPP Foundation, MPP's federal Political Action Committee, and MPP's campaign committee in Colorado.
Other than being on MPP's board of directors, the "Club of 1,000" is the highest distinction that a dues-paying member can attain within the organization.
Qualifying for the "Club of 1,000" means that either (1) you've donated at least $1,000 in one lump sum in the last 365 days, or (2) you're currently donating at least $100 per month on your credit card.
If you donate in either of these two ways
, we'll mail you one of two exclusive membership gifts. These gifts are reserved exclusively for "Club of 1,000" members. (In other words, there's no other way to obtain either gift.)
We understand that not everyone is able to donate at this level. If you’re someone who donates less than $1,000 annually, I want to thank you personally for your financial support, too. We receive approximately $300,000 annually from people who donate $25, $100, or $500 annually ... and $300,000 is real money, to be sure. In fact, $300,000 is enough money to change two state laws a year!
But if you’re capable of contributing at the “Club of 1,000” level, please consider joining today.
MPP’s various branches receive approximately 90% of their annual revenues from people who donate $1,000 or more annually. This is the primary engine that’s paying for our campaigns to (1) end marijuana prohibition entirely in Colorado; (2) legalize medical marijuana in Illinois, New Hampshire, and New York; (3) improve the medical-marijuana laws in California and Maryland; (4) decriminalize marijuana in Rhode Island and Vermont; and (5) lobby for the bill in Congress that would end the federal government’s prohibition of marijuana.
We're discontinuing the two products above on December 31, so please join the "Club of 1,000" today!
