Summer Solstice Party
June 23, 2012
7-11 PM
At the Marrakesh House in Los Angeles
I want to invite you to the Marijuana Policy Project’s Summer Solstice Party on June 23, a celebration of our collective determination, hard work, and collaboration. Join us for this fun evening at a magical, hillside home in Los Angeles, where we will raise money and awareness for the critical work we have ahead.
The summer solstice, a sign of change, is the day the sun shines the longest and nature’s energy is at her peak. The summer of 2012 brings the heat of a pivotal election year, and with at least three marijuana-related initiatives on statewide ballots, we are working feverishly to ensure their success. Buy your tickets
to this event today to help us win in November.
To purchase tickets or find out about sponsorship opportunities, please visit http://www.mpp.org/summersolstice
or contact me, Sarah Lovering, at 424-226-8314. Tickets are $250 each, but will rise to $350 each on May 23. A portion of each ticket purchase is tax-deductible, and the proceeds will benefit our work to change bad marijuana laws. Get yours today before they sell out!
The evening will include delicious hors d’oeuvres, drinks, music, and a fabulous silent auction featuring items you won’t find anywhere else, like this original Jerry Garcia portrait by Jefferson Starship/Jefferson Airplane’s Grace Slick, supporter of MPP’s work.
Guests should dress to impress. Creative attire within the event theme is encouraged.
See you there!
