Peaceful Protest
Patients and volunteers of Vallejo’s Better Health Group will be holding a peaceful protest in front of the Vallejo City Hall on August 7th 2012 in response the atrocities performed by the VPD officers during the illegal and 3rd raid of BHG on June 22, 2012. Officers covered up cameras with surgical gloves, ripped the digital video recorder out of the wall removing evidence of their actions, shredded completed and sealed voter registration forms all while unnecessarily intimidating both patients and volunteers.
Regardless if you are a medical marijuana patient, if you believe that these raids are a waste of time and resources, then please join us August 7th and let your voice be heard!

Join the ASA Legal Support Team Today!
"Medical marijuana patients are finally getting their day in court," said Joe Elford, Chief Counsel with Americans for Safe Access.
Fighting for medical cannabis in federal court is a long and expensive struggle. ASA needs the support of our constituency to keep moving forward and finally prevail. The budget for these two cases alone – including briefs, hearings, soliciting, amicus briefs, research, and press – will be well over $300,000.
Join the Legal Support Team today for a minimum pledge of $100 a month for 18 months. As a Legal Support Team member, you will be invited to quarterly calls with Joe Elford to get updates on these cases, you will receive briefs the day they are filed, and you will be listed on ASAʼs website and publications (if you opt in) as a member of the legal support team.

Launching an ASA chapter is a great way to formally bring together like-minded activists in your community to work together toward ensuring safe access to medical cannabis. ASA chapters are part of a national network of ASA activists and staff who work together on a regular basis to achieve shared goals. A great ASA chapter brings together vibrant activists in an environment of mutual respect, shared responsibility, and constructive political activism and creates a space for new advocates to plug in to the movement. The ideal ASA chapter is networked into the larger community and is a constructive voice for patients and providers of medical cannabis. To learn more about launching an ASA Chapter in your area contact Hunter Holliman, National Field Coordinator, Hunter@SafeAccessNow.org.
