That would be hilarious, Reap! Seeing people sitting on air chasing each other around with mean looks on their faces, flipping each other off, teehee!

I think a lot more people would get motion sickness, though. And it could be easier for the law to enforce certain rules since they'd be able to tell when people were driving while doing something ridiculous. Though it might be weird for reports of crimes. "Suspect got away in a...uhm...invisible vehicle... So... Yeah. Keep an eye out for that guy." =P

And imagine if that happened to airplanes! Some people with a fear of heights already have trouble flying but if the plane was also invisible... We'd look up and see three hundred terrified passengers passing over head...

LOL! People do crazy things while driving. Talk on the phone, text, put on mascara, shave . . . The airplane thing would be hilarious too. Especially if someone were really freaking out. Or throwing up and missed the barf bag. Ewwwe!! Would you see that stuff hit the floor of the airplane . . . the invisible floor?

I can only imagine. You are right, Halo. Seeing all those people running around like a bunch of crazies.

Just had a crazy thought. What if the plane started out visible and then when they got to the proper altitude, the plane went invisible. I can hear the announcement now.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new feature that we are going to try. Hope you enjoy."

That would just a funny site.

Teehee, haha! The passengers would look down and there would be no floor!

... Hrm. Yea. A comic-worthy mental image there but.... Could be a bit of a problem though, if the controls for steering the airplane went invisible too. Imagine those announcements. "Ladies and gentleman, we want to reassure you that the pilots certainly plan to use the brakes, just as soon as they locate them."

Eek.

Although... On an invisible plane... If the passengers looked down... Would they not see their luggage, in the cargo hold? So the view, it wouldn't be a floor but perhaps also wouldn't be a fifty thousand some odd foot drop...

Courage & Peace

I think I'm becoming a Lowe's addict. They have everything in that store you could possibly want to remodel your house. I walk in there and the options overwhelm me, teehee. And I don't know about where you live, but the people who work there are some of the nicest people in the world. (I've been in there so much here lately, we are all getting on a first name basis.) Some really cute single men shop there too, blink blink!

Hrm. There's probably a support group for that kind of addiction, Halo-san. Though if you're shopping for actual handy men, you might not want to seek help right away I suppose. Have fun and stay safe. Ask the kids to escort ya, if needed.

Random thought of the day: Wow. Google says that today would have been Jim Hensons 75th birthday. Can't believe he's already been gone for twenty-one years... And killed by an infection that I can't even properly pronounce. But now, in his honor... I can seek out the genetic data in a game and try to beat the computers score and move us closer to having a vaccination... So take THAT streptococcus pyogenes! HA!

Random thought of the day number two: Anyone remember Watson, the computer that IBM built? The computer which, earlier this year, demonstrated intelligence with language and logic skills by competing on Jeaopardy and winning againt the best two human players they'd ever had? Well, there's been an update. Watson is now getting plugged into the healthcare system. Meaning: the day is coming where they can say "Okay, computer. this is everything that we know so far about this disease. Any suggestions for a cure?" Awesome news, yes?

Courage & Peace

Teehee, CM, I think by the time I'm done remodeling my house, if I am ever completely done, I will need a support group. But since mostly men shop at Lowe's, and would be the attendees at the support group, I would probably be defeating my purpose. And y'all know me; I'm quite a talker!

And for the computer random thoughts, I think that stuff just took a flight right over my head (ZOOOOOM!) You are so smart, CM. I do remember you telling all of us about the jeopardy episode when it happened tho. That is so cool the computer won. If the computer can actually find cures for diseases, I'm all for it.

Halo
