Kayleigh, please be careful. Think safety first. If you want some ink on your skin for the rest of your life, thats fine - and you're far braver than I am - but... Please understand my concern. There are so many horror stories. So do your reseach. Make sure the place is clean and properly licensed and that the artists there are willing/able to work with you. Make sure that they obey the laws. You don't want to get ripped off or end up with a weird infection, that's all.

A tattoo is a work of art that you get to live with for the rest of your life. So it doesn't hurt to pause and consider how it might look a few years from now. If ya have good art to begin with and can afford to get it touched up every so often then you ought to be okay. Be aware that maintaining the quality of the art can be an ongoing expense. Also, from what I understand, getting a tattoo is not always massively painful - depends on where ya get it - but having one removed is.

Sorry to sound all parental and nagging. I am from a 'nag when you care' type family. But while it is awesome that you have such admiration for RVD-san and are comfortable with perhaps expressing it this way... Tattoo is not something to be rushed or taken lightly.

All that aside... I truly do admire your courage and hope that you find an art design that captures everything you wish to express. Perhaps a yin-yang dragon of some sort?

Or... Actually... If you're trying to copy one of the airbushed dragons that RVD-san has worn... Then perhaps your best bet could be to get in touch with Mr. Joe Holland, the professional airbrush artist who designs those outfits. I don't know if he would be willing to help or if he might charge you but I think this is his website. Maybe you could ask him to draw something. *shrugs*

Am glad that you're smart enough to take care! Didn't know that you already had a different tattoo and had done the research - it's kinda weird how many people don't. Hope that ya can find a design you like, then.

hi this is a message to everyone who has been following this topic that i got my tattoo done last friday it is the dragon design rvd wore at ecw one night stand 2006 (well close to it) it is tattooed on my upper right arm and it is amazing as i actually drew it myself from a couple on pics i had in a few magazines,but as on yet it is still very sore as i cannot hardly move my arm as it is healing ,but i will post a pic of it as soon as i can.thanks,see ya all later ,and have a wonderful weekend, kayleigh marie murray (km89)
